We are thrilled to offer a Fall Female Flag Football League for ages: 17u & 13u this Fall 2024!
Our company: (Sports757 / Norfolk Indoor Sports) has run the largest spring male 7 v 7 League in Virginia since 2020. This past year we had over 30 teams involved, with over 500 athletes!
This fall 2024, we are going to introduce Fall Female Flag Football for ages: “17u” (17 years old & under) and “13u” (13 years old & under)
+ current 18 year old females or females turning 18 this fall CAN play in our league if they are seniors this Fall 2024 (no HS graduates please)
Female flag football is one of the fastest growing sports in the US, sponsored by both USA Football & the NFL — female flag football will be an OLYMPIC sport in 2028!
Our league is organized, professional, teaches, trains, and makes the competition fun as the athletes learn and grow throughout the season.
We will practice & play all of our games at Norfolk Christian Schoo. The have a turf field & stadium, providing a FIRST CLASS environment for our female athletes! ALL teams will practice 1x per week and play 6 regular season games, before our final weekend of playoffs & championship games!
Our coaches working with the females not only have Division 1 playing & coaching credentials…they are educators working with athletes 7 days a week with our company!

LEAGUE & TEAM INFORMATION
League Dates: September 7 – October 26, 2024
Days: All Saturdays
September 7 = Week 1 = Practice & Scrimmage (only)
Sept 14 – October 19 = Weeks 2 – 7 = Practice + Scheduled Game
Weeks 2 – 7 = our 6 “regular season games”
October 26 = Week 8 = Playoff / Championship Weekend!
Division 17u = Ages: 17, 16, 15, 14
+ senior females in HS who are 18 or turning 18 can participate 🙂
Division 13u = Ages: 13, 12, 11, 10, 9
17u Practice Time: 9am – 10am (with their team & coaches)
17u Game Time: 10am – 11am (scheduled game with refs)
13u Practice Time: 11am – 12pm (with their team & coaches)
13u Game Time: 12pm – 1pm (scheduled game with refs)

PLAY REGISTRATION INFORMATION
All players must register individually.
Players have the ability to select their “team” at check out.
Players can select ANY team they want, until that team is “full or closed”
Does your athlete have a friend or want to play with a certain group of girls? Simply have them register for the same team.
Immediately upon registration, they will be notified of their coach, playbook, practice times, game schedule, uniform, equipment needed & more!
Again, we take a ton of pride in the communication and organization of this league! 🙂
Cost: $75
Includes: Game jersey, flags, facility, coach, practice time, refs, insurance & football equipment used!
All female athletes need to have is cleats (any kind) and a water bottle!

Below are the team names that the female athletes can choose to register for at BOTH the 17u & 13u level. These are simply team names….all 6 teams (per age division) will both practice and play at Norfolk Christian each Saturday.

TEAM / ORGANIZATION REGISTRATION OPTION
Our company will provide a team, parent / parent group or organization the ability to register a TEAM in our LEAGUE. All teams must fill out this FREE form, and will contact you to gauge your interest.
We will respond to all interest within 12 hours.
All teams that join our league will receive equal field / practice time, games played ect.
LEAGUE RULES & VISION
Our league will play 5 v 5 female flag football rules instituted by both the NFL (NFL Flag) and USA Football. NFL Flag Football now has regional & national tournaments throughout the year. This July 2024, the national tournament was played in Canton, Ohio – televised on ESPN. USA Football, the governing body for the 2028 Olympic Female Flag Football Team – also follows the same rules. Our league & games are intentionally following USA Football / NFL Flag rules – so that our female athletes are prepared for future games & tournaments as they grow in the sport!
REGIONAL / NATIONAL TEAM SELECTION OPPORTUNITY
Our company has a VERY strong interest in fielding a regional / national travel female flag football team to compete in the Spring of 2025.
At the end of this fall season, female athletes will be “offered” roster spots on our newly formed team – to start practice & games in January – July 2025
The “offer / selection” is simply an invitation, athletes are not required whatsoever to join our team.
We will have try outs in December & January for females outside of our league to “make this team” – again, if they have an interest.
We are in the beginning stages of putting together a regional tournament schedule for the spring, with national qualifiers.
Our goal is to have a 757 Female Flag Team that has a chance to grow, develop, and compete on ESPN in July in Canton, Ohio in the “NFL FLAG” national championship!
PARENT / PLAYER QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Q: Where are the games played?
A: All games are played at Norfolk Christian on field turf
Q: Where are the practices?
A: All practices are ALSO at Norfolk Christian, the same day as the game!
We are doing this intentionally for female athletes with busy schedules, or multi sport athletes.
Q: What equipment does my child need?
A: Just cleats! (any type of cleat works!)
Q: Can parents attend games?
A: Yes, parents can attend all games, we have seating for parents.
Q: Do the female athletes wear pads?
A: No, this is flag football. They only wear jersey top & flags.
