Each year, Coach Wilder provides offseason QB & Skill position training sessions at Norfolk Indoor Sports. The sessions at Norfolk Indoor Sports
are outstanding combining both football 101 board work & video analysis PLUS football skills training preparing students to excel at the high school level (students with college aspirations)
Coach Wilder is the former Head Football Coach at Old Dominion University, has over 25 years of D1 college coaching experience as a Quarterbacks Coach & Offensive Coordinator, coaching many NFL players including: Taylor Heinicke (Atlanta Falcons), Oshane Ximines (New York Giants), Keion White (New England Patriots) & Zach Pascal (Arizona Cardinals) to name a few currently in the NFL
During his 13 years as Head Football Coach at Old Dominion University (2009 – 2019) Coach Wilder had a record of 77 – 56!
All of Coach Wilder’s classes will focus on fundamentals and concepts that will help young players excel at the varsity level, and prep students with Division 1 aspirations! TRAINING & CLASS OVERVIEW AT NORFOLK INDOOR
The indoor QB + Football training sessions at Norfolk Indoor Sports are unique, detailed, comprehensive, and expose young football athletes to ALL learning modalities to grow their skills & knowledge of the game
Our training sessions combine BOARD WORK, D1 style video analysis, and field training – making our classes by far the best football training in the 757
Each training session, Coach Wilder will take students through 30 minutes of “Division 1 style” football 101 board work & video analysis, transitioning to 45 minutes of “field work”
The board work & video analysis will build our student’s football “mental fundamentals” with football 101 concepts such as learning defenses, coverage types, offensive concepts, route combinations & more!
Students will be taken through offensive scheme, defensive recognition, coverages, zone / man principles and more!
Taught by a former Division 1 head coach & offensive coordinator – students will leave our 8 week program with a deeper understanding of offensive football, defensive structure, how to attack it…and WHY!
A huge mental advantage for students looking to get a mental edge along with physical training!
CLASS INFORMATION
Wear: Football cleats & athletic attire. Norfolk Indoor Sports has field turf
Bring: All Quarterbacks must bring their own football. Students are encouraged to bring water bottle. There is a water fountain at Norfolk Indoor
NEW: We strongly encourage students to bring a notebook and writing utensil to each class during the “football 101 sessions”. Students will be taught HOW to take proper football notes
Weather: Class will NEVER be cancelled –> Norfolk Indoor is an indoor facility
Parking: Norfolk Indoor Sports has a parking lot, and 77 parking spaces with 50 yards of our facility
2nd ANNUAL – 757 MEGA FOOTBALL CAMP

Last year’s camp was a HUGE success – with 200 athletes and over 20 colleges attending our camp evaluating and teaching the players
It is a TREMENDOUS and one of a kind opportunity for players in the 757 to be coached AND evaluated by college coaches, without costly travel – the camp is right here in Virginia Beach!
Several of our student athletes who attended camp in 2023 received scholarship offers / signed scholarships with the colleges in attendance!

We feel our league is SO POPULAR because we DO emphasize sportsmanship & conduct – along with being very organized, allowing students and parents to love their experience. (FYI – some 7 v 7 leagues are scams, the sportsmanship is terrible, the organization is very poor)
Our league will have 5 age divisions.
