VOLLEYBALL SKILLS & GAMEPLAY PROGRAM
at Norfolk Indoor Sports
We are excited to run a skill development and gameplay class this Spring & Summer 2024 for students in the 757! Our classes will be 30 minutes of skill development & instruction followed by 30 minutes of gameplay each class.
Classes will be taught by current & former college volleyball players who have extensive knowledge of the game and how to properly train players with technical skills / insight into the game!
Students will be separated by age & ability. From beginners to the game to advanced players, our staff will guide students of all abilities.
This Spring, we will start a class for grades: 7 – 12 – that is more advanced, while continuing our class for grades: 2 – 6 🙂
A great volleyball option that is affordable, provides great instruction, without having to drive to Virginia Beach!

Every Tuesday: 7:30pm – 8:30pm (grades: 7 – 12)

Each class, students are separated, train, and play games separated by age & ability. Class is beneficial for beginners to advanced players. Class is CO-ED
+ Parents are welcome to sit, stay & watch at our facility. You do not have to 🙂
+ Weather is never an issue, all training is indoors on field turf
CLASS GENERAL ITINERARY
Our Volleyball class will have four segments that will train our students athletically, mentally, technically with fun game play!
Part 1 of class: will be a good, short athletic warm up. This warm up will cover athletic movements that cross over to all sports
Part 2 of class: will be true Volleyball technical skills training (individual skill development)
Part 3 of class: will be group drills covering different aspects of the game
Part 4 of class: will be volleyball gameplay. The games will be fun, and guided by our coaches who will point out different “volleyball 101” moments where students can learn and gain insight into how to properly play the game
CLASS PURPOSE
The purpose of this class is to take students through a curriculum that builds base athletic movements, introduces sound technical volleyball skills, in a fun environment that also adds guided gameplay.
Students will feel confident after our programming that they will have improved their skill sets, movements and understanding of the game.
Our company mission is to create confidence in ALL of our students through the teaching of fundamentals.
