Our awesome annual Youth Football single day camp at Norfolk Academy!
We bring our awesome coaches from ODU, Norfolk State, Hampton & more to run one of the most popular football camps in the 757 of the summer!
Norfolk Academy has an amazing stadium facility that makes the camp an A1 experience for the students and parents!
This camp truly combines sound fundamental teaching and drills with FUN well organized flag football games!
The campers are separated and organized by grades, our coaches are high energy, the camp is super organized. The campers have a great time working with current players from our local D1 football programs! Check out the awesome itinerary below!

FOOTBALL CAMP INFORMATION
Date: July 13, 2024

Grades: 1 – 8
+ campers do all activities & flag games separated into four groups:
grades: 1 – 2, 3 – 4, 5 – 6, 7 – 8

CLASS DETAILS & PARENT INFORMATION
+ Students please bring / wear: athletic attire, football cleats (any kind), water bottle, youth football (if you have one). Equipment is NOT necessary
+ Norfolk Indoor Sports Turf
Has water fountains, 2 bathrooms, is indoors on field turf
+ Student Ages & Experience Level
Each class, students are separated, train, and play games separated by age & ability. Class is beneficial for beginners to advanced players. Class is CO-ED
+ Parents are welcome to sit, stay & watch at our facility. You do not have to 🙂
+ Weather is never an issue, all training is indoors on field turf
+ Norfolk Indoor Sports will provide daily snack with pretzels, chips, fruit & water.
+ Students CAN bring their own snack / drink for snack time

8:55am – Agility & Footwork Focus
+ speed ladder, agilities, change of direction movements

9:20am – Football Skill Development
+ throwing & catching
+ running proper routes
+ teaching back pedal, coverage skills
+ running back, running with the football
9:50 – Water & Break
9:55am – Routes on Air
+ throwing & catching the route tree (teaching segment as well!)
10:15am – Camp Snack & Football 101 Overview

11:00am – Flag Football Game #1

CAMP OVERVIEW
The purpose of this camp is to take students ages: 6 – 12 through a curriculum that builds base athletic movements, introduces sound technical football skill development, in a fun environment that also adds super fun flag football gameplay!
The purpose of our summer sports camps is to create an experience where our students learn new drills and skills to practice throughout the summer, are inspired by our D1 coaches and trainers, and have FUN – meeting new friends and colleagues!
