FOOTBALL (OL/DL) LINEMAN TRAINING

This football offseason we will be doing YEAR 7 of our outstanding lineman training at Norfolk Indoor Sports
This football training class is for BOTH offensive AND defensive lineman!
Our lineman training is outstanding because the coaching, teaching, drills, techniques are all specific to football lineman ONLY
The offensive line training is run by Coach Brandon Carr
Coach Carr takes offensive lineman through the fundamentals of playing the most important position in football. Appropriate for beginners through advanced players with D1 aspirations, training focuses on “doing simple great” through a variety of drills, skills & technique work.
Brandon Carr is a former ALL REGION 757 HS player who went on to win a Championship playing offensive line at Old Dominion University (Division 1)
Brandon’s training has grown in popularity – he is known as THE offensive line specialist in the 757 area! He has trained many of the recent BIG MEN who have committed or are currently playing D1 football
Coach Carr is also the Head Coach at Indian River High School (Chesapeake) and has many connections to Division 1 coaches & recruiters – in 2023 he was named VIRGINIA REGION COACH OF THE YEAR!
Any dates that Coach Carr can not attend are run by Coach Stephon Dubose.
Stephon is a current starting offensive lineman at Old Dominion University.
The best part of Coach Steph, is that he is a former pupil of Coach Brandon Carr and this training
The Defensive Line training is run by current coaches & players from Old Dominion (Division 1).

Session 1: November 30 – December 28 (5 dates)
Session 2: January 3 – January 31, 2026 (5 dates)
Session 3: February 14 – March 14, 2026 (5 dates)
All classes are Sunday: 6:00pm – 7:30pm

WHY LINEMAN TRAINING AT NORFOLK INDOOR
Any athletic position that REQUIRES very specific technical skills, many times requires very specific coaching by an experienced professional (pitchers, quarterbacks ect.)
The offensive & defensive line position in football unfortunately is the most overlooked and under developed position in ALL of sports!
Brandon Carr & all of our coaches take players through a systematic approach and sequence teaching the proper fundamentals necessary at the OL / DL position including: stance, steps, leverage, striking, positional movements and HOW to play the position

10 Min – Full Range of Motion Body Warm Up
10 Min – Footwork
10 Min – Stance, Steps, Hands, Head
10 Min – Run Game Movements & Destruction
10 Min – Pass Protection Sets, Pass Rush
10 Min – Game Situations / 1 v 1’s
TRAINING INFO & DETAILS
+ Norfolk Indoor is field turf, please wear football cleats
+ No helmets or shoulder pads, NO PADS
+ Please bring water bottle
+ There is seating for parents to sit & stay
