SPORTS757.COM – NAME, IMAGE & LIKENESS CAMP
July 1, 2023 student athletes in the State of Virginia are able for the first time to legally receive NIL (name, image & likeness) business deals and endorsements.
Since opening March 1, 2020 – Norfolk Indoor Sports / Sports757.com has LEAD the State of Virginia / the 757 in sports programming, camps & clinics. Our company has serviced over 10,000 students from nearly every public and private elementary, middle & high school in the 757
Our company has taken extreme pride in hiring hundreds of local high school and collegiate athletes to provide sport specific training and work at our indoor sports facility
We have created a VERY unique (one of its kind) NIL Camp opportunity for students in the 757 to EARN NIL payments from our company based on a merit based system (below). This camp is open to ANY (male or female) athlete that is entering grades 10 – 12 in the fall of 2023, who HAS played a varsity sport (any sport)

NIL CAMP COMPETITION DETAILS
Date: Wednesday July 26, 2023
Time Slots: 20 per 1 hour slot
Slot 1: 2pm – 4pm
Slot 2: 4pm – 6pm
Slot 3: 6pm – 8pm
Slot 4: 8pm – 10pm
at Norfolk Indoor Sports Turf

NIL CAMP COMPETITION RULES
1.) Each student (male / female) must be entering grades 10 – 12 (fall of 2023)
Students can NOT be graduated from high school
2.) Each student must have participated in 1 varsity sport in 2022 – 2023 school year
3.) Each student must physically attend one of 4 NIL Camp slots on July 26
SPORTS757.COM NIL AWARD
Our company (Norfolk Indoor Sports / Sports757.com) will award 2 athletes “NIL Contracts” (that student athletes can accept or NOT accept)
These contracts are NON binding and NON exclusive for the athlete – meaning there will be ZERO language that “restricts” or ever “hinders” the athlete
Our level 1 NIL Deal will award a monthly payment of $200 to the student – athlete for 1 year
Our level 2 NIL deal will award a monthly payment of $50 to the student – athlete for 1 year
Not a coupon, not a gimmick, – this will be a direct payment made to the student-athlete OR legal guardian the 1st of every month
The student athlete does NOT have to accept the NIL agreement
NIL CAMP COMPETITION RUBRIC / SCORING
Below is the scoring RUBRIC on HOW / WHO our company will provide NIL Deals to. This camp competition blends a student athletes accomplishments, character, personality & more.
It allows males & females to compete – on a completely equal “playing field” to represent themselves and our company in 2023 – 2024
1. Pre – Camp “Social Media Post” – ( 10/10 total points awarded )
2. Camp Day 5 Minute Interview – ( 10/10 total points awarded )
3. On field individual AND team accomplishments – ( 15/15 total points )
4. Camp Day Photoshoot – ( 15/15 total points awarded )
5. “3 Line Recommendation” – ( 15/15 total points awarded )
6. Transcript Evaluation (GPA, attendance, tardies) – ( 15/15 total points )
7. Post Camp “Social Media Post” – ( 10/10 total points awarded )
8. Camp Day “30 second video” – (10/10 total points awarded)
Total points: 100 total possible points
students do not HAVE to present or DO any of the 8 items.
If a student / guardian does not submit an item, zero worries. That student will receive a “7/15” on 15 point items or “5/10” on 10 point items
Students who DO NOT submit items CAN win our NIL Competition
A detailed PDF instructions of all 8 items will be provided to each student & parent, which will explain ALL the information, parameters & scoring
WHY OUR NIL CAMP COMPETITION RUBRIC / SCORING
Our company (Norfolk Indoor Sports / Sports757.com) is built on three key tenants.
1. Serving the community through sport – building confidence in young athletes providing AFFORDABLE training by local trainers and college students
2. Serving the community through service – our company provides at least 1 free event to students in the 757 per month. We have provided over 1,000 students FREE programming since 2020.
3. Teaching ALL of our students & athletes to have ZERO ENTITLEMENT, a positive attitude, and to live with a sense of gratitude. We teach our students AND coaches that it is OK to smile, be kind, work hard, and find the GOOD!
